while we were cooking, it began to snow.


anna and meg stuffing the turkey, which even if i probably could've eaten it, after seeing it be stuff, definitely wouldn't have.


of course i get the low chair during dinner. look how colorful my plate is!

thanksgiving dinner for nine people chez moi, a day late was great. good wine, good food, good people. it was nice to be away from home and have a home-y atmosphere. we finally got some good use out of our kitchen, i made things like sweet potatoes and chestnuts, and got rather tipsy. it was a real french/american fusion with some jacques brel, edith piaf, and pink martini playing, good ol' fashion homecooking, and some very cheap wine. oh, and some disgusting beaujolais nouveau too.
